    Fusion Media Group is looking for a Partner Development Director to help grow our network of publishing partners: The Onion Reach Network.


    This position will generate new revenue streams by identifying and developing potential advertising and business development partnerships amongst digital publishers. This role will work alongside Product, Programmatic, Marketing and Business Development source, onboard, project-manage and account manage these organizations.


    We are looking for a self-starter that is rooted in the online publishing and ad tech world.



    • Identify prospects to grow The Onion Reach Network via online search, Comscore, @Plan, personal contacts and industry knowledge
    • Partner outreach, pitch work, meetings and consultation
    • Evaluate and project revenue for each potential partner/ deal shape
    • Develop deal terms and drive negotiations
    • Project management across multiple teams and stakeholders with a focus on ad tech and programmatic implementation
    • Develop and maintain a weekly project report
    • Manage reporting internally and with partners
    • Maintain partner satisfaction through account management
    • Grow revenue via new partners and new opportunities with existing partners
    • Staying current on industry trends and providing thought leadership


    • 8+ years experience in business development, digital publishing, programmatic, ad tech, ad ops, ad product, or related area, or demonstrated knowledge of Web technologies and an ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
    • Established ad tech and publisher contacts
    • Ability to lead the entire publisher relationship lifecycle
    • Strong understanding of online publisher ad tech and revenue needs
    • Familiarity with project management procedures and methodology
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem­ solving skills
    • Ability to take ownership of complex efforts and mediate between competing interests and personalities
    • Ability to identify options, suggest solutions, and act decisively when necessary to advance a project
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate between technical and non-technical personnel.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to conscientiously manage and follow up on multiple concurrent tasks and handle requests on tight deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
