Overview

 

FMG is looking for a Designer to be part of the Communications and Marketing teams with the skills for developing visually stunning assets to promote our brands. The designer will be tasked with creating a variety of assets from print ads to email newsletters to presentations.

 

This role will get to work with some of the most original and beloved brands on the web including Gizmodo, Deadspin, Jezebel, Kotaku, Lifehacker, Jalopnik, The Onion, A.V. Club, ClickHole, The Root and more. We are looking for someone with a strong eye for aesthetics and superior skills for creating visuals and images that can very simply and persuasively communicate an idea or complex data—all within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in managing the visual brand identity for Fusion Media Group
  • Expert knowledge of Keynote and ideally Powerpoint
  • Thorough knowledge of a Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Flash and web skills with knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Ability to uphold brand and style guidelines
  • Advertising or marketing industry knowledge and experience a plus
  • Experience creating video-based marketing materials a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Manage time effectively, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently

 

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional Keynote presentation design experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-end presentation design skills and clean design aesthetic
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design preferred
